Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up. There is a small per-minute limit on link lookups so the tool stays available for everyone.

Can I transcribe private accounts?

No. Only public reels and video posts work. Private accounts, stories and deleted posts cannot be fetched.

Which languages work?

99 languages, detected automatically or chosen from the list. You can also translate the speech into English.

What about carousels?

If a carousel has several videos, you can pick which one to transcribe. Photo-only posts have nothing to transcribe.

Can I reuse the video?

The transcript is for your own notes, research and captions. The video and its words belong to their author, so ask before republishing them.
